Journal entry by Jim Krzyzanowski

I am now back to work full time as of March 7, 2019.  I did 4 hours per day starting January 7, 2019 and 6 hours per day starting February 7, 2019.  Other than sometimes needing an extra nap in the afternoon, I did not have any bad side effects.  I am able to do some of my work from home and I did take advantage of that on days where the weather was bad or the roads were sketchy.

We are back to many of our normal activities like the Life Group from our church or visiting the Home & Garden show in Fort Wayne.

Because my A1C blood test was much improved in December 2018, my doctor has recommended that I do not need to take insulin any longer.  I am still borderline diabetic, but the improvement has allowed me to settle back to occasional monitoring.  I had an eye exam and my eyes are fine.  I am trying to consume less sugar and I am trying to be more active on our exercise bike or elliptical.  I do have an appointment in the summer to check on the progress of my blood clots and the medicine that I am taking for that.  And I will still have an appointment in December to do an MRI and compare it to an MRI that was done in December 2018 to make sure that my meningioma is being managed as well as possible.

Thank you everybody for your thoughts & prayers.  We will keep you posted on our progress over time.
