Journal entry by Kailynn Ebert —
Via Grace:
Jim has been home for two months now. Yesterday both the physical therapist and speech therapist concluded that he doesn't need to return for therapy. One therapists stated, "real life is the best therapy." They also stated that he could start practicing driving! His short term memory is improving, though names and connections with people is still hard. His passion for the blues and guitar are stronger than ever. He has also been spending his free time painting. He cannot wait to watch the Super Bowl and hopefully see his son Cale on the sidelines. Jim is a walking, talking, blues guitar playing miracle that I am grateful to still have in my life and call my father. Thank you again for everyone's support and prayers.
