My dad took his last breath early this morning and is no longer in pain.
A dear friend sent this to me this morning and it was so appropriate and comforting...
” I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on the day of his return.”
The visitation will be on Thursday evening and the funeral with be Friday morning both will take place at their church St Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee. We will let you know times as soon as we can.
Thank you all for you love and prayers during this difficult time. We are at peace knowing he is with the Lord and his daughter Linda and all that have passed before him. I am quite certain he is happy and his memories have been restored.
