Journal entry by Rene' Curlee

Jim had his 5th Chemo treatment today. He has done so much better with Chemo since going to the half strength. He has none of the horrible side effects he had earlier. He still is able to eat and has a decent appetite. The plan now is to do a PET scan on June 4th and although there is another Chemo scheduled for the 9th, it remains to be seen whether that will happen. Jim will get his results of the scan and hopefully meet with the surgeon soon after. He will have to make the decision on whether he wants to have surgery to remove part/all of his stomach. If he decides against surgery then there is no more Chemo beyond that. There may be a chance for some radiation but that is something to be determined. Pray for Jim that he can make a decision for the path going forward and be confident in his decision.
