Not a lot of people seek out the oldest guy on the job to be partners with but I’m so glad I did that first day we met. I’m a fellow union carpenter who got to work with Jim (we called him Blue) for many years and multiple company's . I learned not only a lot of his work tricks but a lot about his life. He was always showing everyone pictures of his family and what they were up too.. If you ever wanted to know what Jim was up too after he retired all you would have to do is open up Facebook and 9 times out of 10 on the top of the page there was that old guy with one of his beloved family members. He also loved working on his house projects. Jim will be extremely missed and my deepest sympathies go out to the entire family. (YOUR MY BOY BLUE)
From ball washer #2 he gave names to everyone

Annie, you write so eloquently about your Dad and you captured who he was so perfectly. Anyone who had the privilege to meet him, to know him, to laugh with him will never, ever forget him. Take care of each other as you always have and know that I never stopped loving each and every one of you. Peace, Love Doves
