Journal entry by Bret Bright —
Dad passed away yesterday July 1st at 10:34AM. He was sleeping in bed at home. Mom was with him when he passed.
Needless to say we are all heartbroken by our loss but comforted that he is no longer suffering the debilities of the brain tumor. We all choose to remember him for his humor, his cooking, and his ability to fix anything.
We thank everyone for their support since his diagnosis in November of 2017. Please join us as we continue to welcome your support when we remember him Monday July 8th at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home 12010 Allisonville Road. Visitation begins at 2pm with services at 4pm. Additionally we will host a Celebration of Life in our hometown of Richmond, IN on July 13th 3-6pm at The Firehouse BBQ, 400 N. 8th St (in honor of his love of barbecue).
All flowers will be donated to Connecting Hearts Inc. after the services. And in lieu of flowers, we encourage donations made to The American Brain Tumor Association.
