Jill’s Story

Site created on December 10, 2020

Jill was diagnosed with a 4.4 cm brain tumor on 12/8/20. Pathology revealed it is metastatic cancer. 2 nodules were found in her lungs as well. Surgery to remove the tumor was scheduled for Friday, Dec 11, 2020 & was successful. Jill will have to have chemo & radiation. Thank you all for the prayers & support. We will update as much as we can!

Newest Update

Journal entry by Gianna Bonello

Another update from Jill :)

Last week got the results of my pet scan and the news was fantastic. Yippee Skippy.  Tomorrow I start radiation for three days in a row and will be recuperating most of the week. Also tomorrow have another CT scan to see if I qualify to get into a cancer trial for a improved drug. It was cool seeing the before surgery MRI and the Pet scan MRI after surgery and that huge tumor was gone from my brain. Amazing
My thanks to everyone for your prayers and love.”

We are so glad Jill’s pet scan results were good. Jill said the other week she went for a walk & slipped and landed on her nose!! Ouch!!! Thankfully it’s not broken... we wouldn’t want another surgery in this mix.

Hope everyone is having a blessed start to the New Year! ❤️
