Sat, Jan 2nd—A Productive day -3rd day since surgery- worse day was yesterday, Jan. 1 2021- pain medication that I was taking didn’t seem to work very long- masked the pain for awhile. This morning extremely intense pain incision site radiating to left side of stomach. I was given Gabepentin, Tylenol and Dilobidid for pain, stool softener, fosamax,-bones, citalopram- anxiety medication. IVs 2 in one left. wrist & forearm and one in the right wrist. Both legs have the air circulation electric pumps. Drainage tube off side of left lower back. Today’s goal needed to walk 4x , move off bed a recliner/chair time for 20 minutes 3x. Still wearing patches for the heart monitor, had a EKG this afternoon(looked good). Excited for tomorrow, Dtr Keech mentioned possibility of taking out drainage tube & sending my butt home!!! 🙂🙏. Powerful Prayers have helped me through such a horrible time . So much support & friendship is the key to EVERY BREATHE I TAKE!!!
