Journal entry by Jessica Miller —
Sorry for not many updates but last week was busy! I had blood draw, doctor appt and chemo treatment last Tuesday. My Mother in law, Karen, took me. Then we had to get home after I was hooked up to the pump so we could get lambs check into Osage County Junior Livestock show in Pawhuska. Jett showed Lambs Wednesday. He had champion Natural lamb and that lamb was 4th overall lamb. Then we had to haul in his steer Wednesday evening. He showed the steer Thursday evening. I unhooked myself Thursday from my pump and discontinued my own port access. My parents came down to watch Jett Show. We all had a great time. My niece, Sissy aka Montana, showed her heifer and steer and did really good too. We had a lot of great help to make last week possible. Thank you Aunt Sara, Hannah and Austin Gibson!
I have been feeling really good. Just tired and nauseous at times. I can’t touch anything cold or even have my hands or feet exposed to the cold. My blood counts were great so I didn’t have to have the shot to boost my bone marrow. I have a CT chest and abdomen with IV and Oral contrast scheduled on the 24th to see how the chemo is working.
Thank you all for the prayers and thoughts!
