Dad left us last night, so quietly, around 10:30. He leaves behind a world he improved by way of a kind heart, strong mind and hard work. There was a real sense felt by both Wendy and Samantha in the hours before he physically left, that he was already reunited with Mary. Knowing he is so happy helps quite a bit with the absence that is so heavy right now. God, he was a good man. And I am so proud he was my dad.
