Jesse’s Story

Site created on November 22, 2020

With a personality and stature like my brother's, he's a tough one to ignore or forget. And with his uncanny ability to make fast friends for life, we thought a Caring Bridge site would be a  good resource for everyone who knows him to keep updated on his progress.

This past weekend (11/22) Jesse was admitted to the ER in Buffalo after suffering complications stemming from the Covid-19 virus in conjunction with his Type II Diabetic condition.
Initially we were given devastating news - expectations that he wasn't going to make it. He was intubated and sedated. Later we were told that action more than likely saved his life.
After transfer via ambulance to the ICU at Methodist and access to top-level care, his prognosis improved. He's still not breathing on his own and still 'very sick' (as the Doctors put it) -- but alive and fighting.

We can't wait to hear your stupid giggle-laugh and constant jokes.... so wake up Jesse, we're all waiting to see you!
