I have only today learned of Jessaca's accident. I am happy to read that the recovery, while long, is progressing.
I have had the opportunity to be a track and field official for Jessaca a number of times this spring, including being her meet starter at Hopkins, White Bear Lake, and True Team Sections at Cambridge.
As I have said numerous times these past track seasons, and the FL coaches will back me up on this, that the Ranger athletes are as polite, well-mannered, and sportsmanlike as any that I see all spring and moreso than most. Jessaca is a shining example.
You are a champion, Jessica. You lead by example! The same determination will allow you to recover and continue to be a champion. I will be cheering for you!
