Jerry was diagnosed with colon cancer about 7 years ago, after a routine colonoscopy found many polyps in his colon. He has undergone numerous rounds of chemotherapy in that time frame. Each time battling the side effects of the chemo. This past summer after finishing some chemo in Fort Collins, his oncologist recommended he try for a trial treatment that uses immunotherapy in Denver. After some treatments there he had a routine scan to check how he was progressing. On December 14th his scan showed no improvement but instead continued growth of the cancer on his liver and lungs. He has since chosen to not continue with treatments, and to live out what time he has left at home with loved ones. Prayers and positive thoughts are greatly appreciated.
