Open heart surgery for two bypass procedures to correct 95% blockage as well as two more blockages in the widow-maker artery and other areas of the heart.
1. Today we were told the surgery may be delayed until Tuesday instead of Monday. Our surgical team has a full schedule on Monday and a clear schedule on Tuesday. They are working on the strategy to give Jerry the best care possible. We are praying and believing God’s timing is perfect.
2. Any exercise (walking up and down the hall) is discouraged as he is not to have exertion. Only to bathroom and back his recliner or bed.
3. If he experiences any chest pains, of course, they will proceed with emergency bypass surgery.
