Journal entry by kelli scott

The biopsy of lung nodule came back as Adenocarcinoma.  This is what we expected and are very thankful for.  This is the same nodule as last time but smaller.

Jerry and Karen have been in Houston since April 17th (I think).  His medical team decided he would need 4 rounds of the Short Burst Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and nothing else.  This should eradicate the tumor cells and leave just scar tissue.

He had the mold for radiation made last week and then the SBRT this week.  He completed the last one today and they are headed back home to Elkhart!  He will head to Houston in July for routine scans.

They were also able to go to Galveston on their downtime in Houston.  They were able to go to the beach and Libby got in the water for the first time.  Glad they made it there, but thankful they are coming home!

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
