Such a long, hard journey for your Mom and Dad...for his the kids, the grands, the whole family and for his friends that loved them. So overwhelming for you. So much sadness.
Be proud of how you cared for them...I know they are proud of you. You carried on doing for Jerry, and Kim, just as they would have cared for you. They were wonderful examples for you. They taught you well.
I will cherish my memories. I will smile, and probably laugh out loud sometimes, going back to our crazy school days with your dad!
Jerry and Kim will be missed, but always loved.
I know that you will continue their love of family.
God bless you all.
Take a deep breath.
In friendship and with love. Always.

Kelly and I were so sorry to miss Jerry’s final party. Your family was such an integral part of the Cole family for many years and your parents will be dearly missed. We had a lovely lunch with your parents days before your father took a turn. I cherish that memory.
And I echo your sentiment on medical care. We have kept journals for our parents and I kept one through Kelly’s care and I take it with me whenever he goes to the doctor. Always have a second set of ears no matter what your loved one says. “I can go by myself” doesn’t cut it. We have referred to Kelly’s journal countless times.
Please know the Dougherty family will always be in our prayers. ☘️☘️♥️

Jennifer, Colleen and John. Everything was just beautiful for both of your parents services. This all does just suck….only way to say it. Your note above is spit on. Love you all. Kim and Jerry were very special to the Hayes family❤️🍀
