Jeremy is in the critical care unit recovering from 2 major surgeries including bowel reconstruction, tumor removal, Pneumonia, and a cancer diagnosis. Once he is doing well and recovered from the surgeries, he will meet with an oncologist to find out more about the cancer - where it is, if it has spread and what the course of action and treatment will be.

Katie + Jeremy have not asked for any help or assistance, however, Jeremy has a long road ahead of him and isn’t going to be back to work anytime soon. With only having one income and partial insurance coverage, if you can offer more than prayers, http://bit.ly/JeremyMiles is the direct link to Jeremy + Katie’s PayPal account.

Donations will be used for living expenses, food, gas, childcare etc while Jeremy is recovering.

A GoFundMe for medical expenses may be set up in the future, but for now, updates regarding Jeremy's health and progress will be posted here.   Please check here first for updates as Jeremy is recovering and Katie continues to work and take care of their children.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Katie Miles

Jeremy is doing much better, good thing since it’s Father’s Day today!

2 weeks ago he had his wound cleaned up and closed and a chemo port put in. He also had a drain put in for all the access fliud (it was kinda gross lol). Last week - Monday - they were able to take the drain out. They did a chest X-ray because he was having a hard time breathing. They found one of his lungs was starting to collapse and put him on some strong antibiotics since they thought it was the start of pneumonia. He goes back to the doc tomorrow morning to get his staples removed from his stomach and to find out if his lungs are healthy enough to start his chemo treatments. He also sees the oncologist tomorrow, in hopes he can start treatments.

The tough road for Jeremy is yet to come. The continued support from friends and family is amazing and is what is keeping Jeremy’s spirits up. Thank you ❤️❤️
