Jennifer’s Story

Site created on December 21, 2020

Welcome family and friends. As you may have heard, my mom has been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.  She is pretty in touch with her body and noticed a lump in her breast.  We are grateful that she caught this thing early, and the prognosis is very good!  Because this is a more aggressive type of breast cancer,  she will be starting chemotherapy in the near future.  She will also have surgery, though timing is still TBD. This will be a journey unlike any other, but she's got that rockstar Jen Smith spirit!
We created this site to help keep family and friends updated during this process. This can be an overwhelming time and many people will be reaching out. This is one platform where Jen can see everything folks write, instead of having to go to multiple sites to respond to everyone.
In addition to updating you, please feel free to leave messages and love for her! Folks have asked how they can help so click on the "Ways to Help" menu and  it will bring you to her Go Fund Me page then click on that link.
Love,
Lindsey

Journal entry by Jen Smith

I wanted to let everyone know that I had a great opportunity to share my experience of my year of healing and treatment with Doctor David Page at the Providence Fran’s Cancer Center in Portland, Or.  Below is the link to see the presentation.

✨✨I was super lucky this past year to get the best possible gold standard of care with one of the top research scientists for Triple Negative Breast Cancer in the world.

I’ve attached a link to a webinar that I actually am speaking at where I talk about my journey of healing and how immunotherapy has made my recovery possible!

I am the third speaker on this!  I do end up crying a bit, but my goodness I’m so full of hope and want to share it with all of you!

We are getting closer everyday, and because of women like me and my two other friends who where in these clinical trials I do believe we are closer to a cure ✨✨
