Journal entry by Jenny P

These Denver trips seem to take me a long time to process. Sorry to keep you all waiting but I didn’t know what to say. I don’t know if it was Mom having a sit down with the Big Man, or if God said ok ok ok I hear everyones prayers, or if it was just time. Maybe all 3, but EJ is better. There are no holes in his heart so no need for heart surgery. The pulmonary hypertension ( his serious lung disease) is no longer present in the imaging. All his abnormal blood work continues to improve so this correlates with healing.

This so much more then hoped for or expected so honestly I can’t get it through my head.

The plan for the next 6 months are to return the home oxygen, wean off the cardiac meds, do multiple cardiac echos to make sure he is tolerating no meds, and continue to feed him butter and bottles of heavy whipping cream. We go to Denver for check ups in November.

Today was a big day and we returned all the oxygen!!! Three years ago July 15, 2019 I went into labor and to the ER. That is the day they did the ultrasound and the doctor told us the news that the baby has a defect and we need more testing. What a day to give back the oxygen.
