Happy Valentines Day!!! 2021 started with a bang for little EJ. We have randomly had lots of family time which has been wonderful. He is learning and developing so fast chasing after all his older cousins.
January 1st he had a runny nose and January 2nd he was huffing and puffing. I brought him to Billings for a pneumonia diagnosis. With my sisters family’s help EJ and I got through 10 days of low oxygen Sats, difficulty breathing, every 4 hour inhalers, lots of oral antibiotics  and injections and non stop vomiting and diarrhea. We saw the doc frequently and managed to stay out of the hospital. Needless to say I locked myself back in my house and no more play dates for a bit. Never thought I would  be the mom terrified of a runny nose.
The last month since then has been good. We continue to battle vomiting and gagging with eating but there has been improvements and he gained an entire pound this month!!!!!! This is a record and he now weighs 16 pounds 10 ounce at 15 months old. He also got 3 top teeth, first hair cut, and is not walking but RUNNING everywhere.
EJs favorite things are snow, toy cars, dancing to any music and playing chase. How wonderful to more toddler experiences then sick baby experiences at this point in life.
Our next Denver trip is not till June. Hopefully there will be no new news till then.
Happy Valentines Day! Hope your day is filled with so much love. Thank you everyone for continuing to think of our little family. EJ still has some big hurdles but day by day he is doing so well.
