Journal entry by Jennifer Ping

I had been having a lot of pain since January with going to the bathroom and kept being sent to different doctors.  Well on May 22nd I was in so much pain that I decided to go to ER and so glad I did as they found 2 masses at my vaginal cuff and rectum.  I would then be scheduled for a pet scan and biopsy as well as a MRI.  All of these things showed that my cervical cancer was back and the masses are pool ball size:(  wow how did this happen especially with them doing the surgery and removing 32 lymph nodes that were all cancer free? what am I going to do?  It took a couple weeks but seen the oncologist who said I would need to have surgery to remove as much as they can as well as radiation 5x week for 5 weeks and 1x a week of chemo.  I am scared and nervous but know I am strong and have a lot of people praying for me and helping me get through this.  My surgery is scheduled for June 26th at 1pm then radiation will start a month afterwards.
