This is Darrin. I just wanted to give a quick update regarding Jens recovery. It's been almost 3 months since her surgery. The grace of God and tremendous medical care have contributed to a pretty remarkable recovery process. In the last month and a half she has gone from a wheelchair to a walker, and now slowly transitioning to walking with a cane. Her Physical and Occupational therapists have been incredible.  Jen is home now, working hard on increasing strength and balance. She will continue with outpatient therapy once a week. This will be the routine until her body is back to its normal functions. Her neck is healing properly and the neck brace  might be coming off in about a month. Jen hasn't been able to talk ( only a raspy whisper ) due to a paralyzed vocal cord. She will be having surgery in February to hopefully improve the quality of her voice. She is strong, committed and in great spirit. Jen personally wants to express her sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for the prayers and positive support during her recovery. She truly believes she would not be where she is today without it.
