Journal entry by Robin Collins —
It's been a while since our last post... which is a good thing. No news is essentiallly good news! Jen is now at Dunbar Health and Rehab Center in Dayton. She is getting stronger, though she took a blow to the head with a fall this week. We are seeing this as a blessing. You have to be up and moving to fall. She's up, talking, walking and building muscle. She was checked out by MVH and is back to her room now. Jen knows she needs to stay and get better, but she is feeling very lonely. We are asking if you could pop in and say Hi and chat for a bit, to please do so. Her room number is 505. She has dialysis on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She is still having the same memory issues as before, but does recognize friends and family. Please try to visit her and encourage her, especially with the Holidays arriving. Please keep praying. Her kids miss their mom being home, but do get to visit now:) Jamie's nerves are shot, but he's doing well with keeping on- keeping on! Thank you all again! Happy Thanksgiving! We are blessed to still have Jen with us, as it was very worrisome for a bit. We are still worried... but thankful to have her awake and with us!
