Journal entry by Jaime Halzle —
Hi! Thought I would give an update….I’m really starting to feel more like myself again. I’ve put on some much needed healthy weight(my butt came back 🤣)…the biggest issue currently is chronic fatigue, it doesn’t take much to wipe me out. I still can’t walk very fast, but I hardly use my oxygen and haven’t used my walker in a couple of weeks. Some days are better than others, but overall I’m on the up and up. Dave and I will be laying low this Christmas and just enjoying quality time together with the kids. God is good and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t thank Him for making me His miracle and healing me. It’s still surreal, how sick I was…I’m also still figuring out what was real and what wasn’t when I was in ICU. I had ICU delirium(yes, it’s a thing)…so some things or events I thought happened, actually didn’t, haha! It’s crazy what our minds can do! I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas with family and friends…we’re not promised tomorrow and I have never appreciate that saying more than I do now. Love you all and God Bless!!! 💕🙏🏼🥰
