Services for Jeff are being held at Epworth by the Sea, Saint Simons Island on Saturday, January 5th. Jeff began his career right out of college at Epworth and it has always been a special place for him. A visitation is being held in the Ellie Harvey Room from 3:00-4:00PM. The memorial service at Lovely Lane Chapel will begin at 4:30PM. Following the service, we will release lanterns and gather at the American Legion Social Hall adjacent to Epworth to celebrate Jeff. This will give everyone the chance to share stories and their favorite Jeff-isms, as he would want this to be a fun and uplifting time. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to purchase a memorial bench on Epworth in honor of Jeff. Once we have raised sufficient funds for that, the excess will go to the Georgia Southern Athletic Scholarship Fund. Please make checks payable to “In Memory of Jeff Herrington”.
