Journal entry by Jeff Dielle —
I went to see my surgeon, Dr. Kavanaugh, yesterday. She removed about 30 staples from the incision in my stomach.
She summarized the pathology report for me, and everything is OK. The entire tumor was well-differentiated, which means the tumor is very unlikely to spread. The margins we all good, which means they got it all. She said there is a 30% chance of a reoccurrence in the belly I’ve the next 5 to 15 years, which I can can live with.
I am very relieved by all the good news.
