I can only imagine what you are both going through. I have a little better understanding of what the children are going through. My husband died when my children were 5 and 9. If you have never heard of Kinder Mourn, I strongly suggest you contact them. They are are wonderful organization for children who have lost parents and parents who have lost children. They offer counseling, help kids understand that all of their feelings are valid and Okay. My kids are 26 and 30 now and still talk about the “feeling lady” at Kinder Mourn. One more suggestion for the kids, someone gave my girls picture frames so they could pick out a picture of their dad for their room. One daughter took her picture to sleepovers. It helps. Praying for you all.
