The doctors were able to look at the hand for the first time today after two weeks of letting it heal. This is the first time Jed has seen it since they shaved both fingers down. This was quite hard for Jed to take in again... even more is gone now and it’s discouraging.
There is still a lot of healing ahead. The bones in the hand still have a lot of healing before Jed goes into major therapy. They gave him a new splint for his hand and there is a spacer for between the two fingers. He will be going to occupational therapy once a week in Denver.
We are grateful to God for the healing so far, no infections, and everything He has planned for Jed. Please keep him in your prayers. We are grateful for all of your prayers and the love and care.
I might have used this verse already, but it’s my favorite and think it can be used again ❤️
Proverbs 3:5-6
“[5] Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
