Journal entry by Jeannie Statz —
Today is my last chemo!!!! My world was changed a year ago and it’s been a long haul. I want to especially thank my daughter Sarah who faithfully went to every infusion with me and gave me encouragement when I wanted togive up. I am so grateful for my co workers who put up with my moods, my crazy wigs, and for covering when I would sprint out for radiation. They were there for me since day one of shaving my head, cleaning my house, trying on wigs, care packages, cards, advice about my eyebrows and numerous gestures that met so much to me, as well has bringing in food after my surgery I want to thank Chip who drive from Albuquerque to cook for me and fix things around the house and filled my refrigerator with food and continued to make me smile everyday in texts refusing to let me feel sorry for myself. I am grateful for all your prayers, cards, and packages. I am truly blessed.
