Family and friends,
Please keep Jean in your thoughts and prayers today. She will start IV chemo today. She has been dreading this and has gone through all the medications that can be given. She is in fairly good spirits. She has been celebrating the recent engagement of her son Ben. Both of her sons are now in their first duty stations and check in with her frequently.

Family and friends,
Jean has had a busy month in November. No significant changes in health, some changes in medications. She remains in good spirits.
She went out to Arizona in November to visit Ben and her friend Dianne. Jean and I also did our Christmas craft blitz in November and went to probably too many fairs.
Please continue with your kind thoughts and prayers. They are greatly appreciated.

Hello Family and Friends,
Jean has been doing fine. Some changes have been made to her medications after her last scan. She says she is not in pain and has been very active.  Jerry has just graduated from Army boot camp and Jean, Gary and Mady attended. Please continue your support, prayers and thoughts. They are very much appreciated.

Hello Family and Friends,

Jean has been doing fairly well. She still has some aches and pains. She has continued on the same dosage of Ibrance and Femara and regular visits to her oncologist. She and Gary recently returned from Army boot camp graduation of Ben in Oklahoma (see picture). Jerry is away at Army boot camp in Georgia. Jean also went to her 40th high school reunion of Roncalli class of ‘78. Jean is saying goodbye to the US post Office after decades of service. Please continue to keep Jean and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everyone for the recent inquiries. Jean says everything is going as expected. She has been working on all that paperwork that comes with retiring early, etc.... She says at times she feels especially tired but she is taking it a step at a time. She does not complain of pain so much. Doctors visits are going as planned. She receives letters from Ben at boot camp and is awaiting the time when Jerry goes to boot camp at the end of July. Continue to keep Jean and her family in your thoughts and prayers. It truly is appreciated 🙂

Jean has been doing well lately even with her busy events of Jerry’s wedding and Ben’s high school graduation. She has started a third cycle of Ibrance and states there has been very little pain.  She remains in good spirits and thanks everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers. Keep them up. Ben leaves for boot camp this upcoming Tuesday. Good luck! Just posting a pic of the happy couple Jerry and Maddy with Jean and Gary.

Thank you all for your support with Jean’s fundraiser. It was a great turnout with many surprise donations. There is a short article in the Southsider Voice that we are sharing. Keep up the prayers and kind thoughts especially as Jean begins another cycle of Ibrance at a lower dose. She has also seen a nutritionist so if you are bringing her food make it healthy, low sugar, lots of fruits and veggies 🍅
