Jeanie contacted me just after we watched the online Good Friday service by our church CEFC. Her text was, "Come pick me up, it wasn't viable". Our roller coaster ride for that day was over. We sure had a lot of people praying and rejoicing, we were so moved. We will call on you to pray again, and we are so comforted knowing that you are faithful and will lift Jeanie up again and again. This strengthens us more than we realize.
On the hour drive to Hershey I called one of my pastors, but he is way more than that. He's my accountability partner, I serve with him at our church, and he is a great close personal friend. It helped to have someone to talk to at this time, help me process and understand.
We are disappointed, no doubt about that. But in Gods time, His will be done. We don't know what that will look like or when it will be, but God has never failed us.
Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"
