To all of Roger and Jean's Friends, Roger Hanz is currently in the hospital in Kingsport TN, preparing for surgery to restore his quality of life. Roger requires correction of compression in his spine between C2 and C3 vertebrae. This compression has caused loss of mobility, especially in Roger's arms and hands, so much so that Kingsport friends are helping him eat. Roger's mobility issues prohibit him from texting or calling on his cell phone, so please refrain from trying to call him. Friends are reading him his texts and emails daily, so feel free to do that in the short term. If you want to be a part of Roger's new CaringBridge site, please send your email address to cynthialewis75@gmail.com Roger covets your warm wishes and prayers.

Thanks so much for sharing the pictures of her quits. She was an amazing quilter, so talented and prolific. My favorites are the stunning aquarium, the one with the bear and other winter animals, and the dragon, but they are all magnificent. She will be missed in so many ways by so many people. Rest in peace, dear Jean. Well done, good and faithful servant.
