Hi Jean! Just wanted to update you on what we have been doing. I told you a while back that we are will be moving so we have been over to the new house trying to clean and get it ready as the actual move will be in two weeks. This house is an older one but on a beautiful lake and the house is level with the lake opposite of what we have with a steep hill. I to replace tips just did not like that climb back up to the house from the lake at the old place. One thing we found out that after we bought the house, is that the owners were not very good at cleaning. Everything on the surface looks good until you get into the cupboards and closets. Yuck! But we’re getting there and I know we will enjoy it once we get all settled. Now that is my update and I am looking forward to getting an update from you! You are still in our thoughts and prayers and I’m sending you love and hugs! Eileen

So glad to get your update. Chemo is usually not a lot of fun and the 'side effects' differ from person to person. Chemo brain, among them. Hang in there. We pray that your doctors have selected the right combo to rid you of that 'vile beast' within you. Yes, getting a house ready to sell is a lot of work. We seem to recall some folks who showed up when it was our turn (Jean Anutta, Norma Wold, Judy and Jim Day, among others. Bless them all!). Our very best to your family who are making sure you and Fred have what you need (and then some). May the Good Lord bless you all. Love and Prayers, D & G.

Hi Jean,
Sounds like the never-ending therapy with "mini-breaks" in between. You continue to be an inspiration to many who are fighting the good fight. We are in Missouri visiting daughter and family. Very green here and very "country". Hugs and prayers for each new day as you continue on the journey. Love, Roberta

Hi sweet Jeannie....so good to get your update. Love the pic of Hannah and Willow. Yes, dogs are great companions, my Timmy continues to be fun in spite of some heart issues.....he takes his meds and is still enjoying life! No worries about my Birthday, just one in a long line!! It was a good day and I'm hanging on to my Jesus hand, and I know you are too.

Still sorting and packing, have a moving sale scheduled for 10/23 and 10/24. Some of our old Havasu group are stopping by on the 23rd, too which will be lovely. Moving date still not for sure, waiting for the appraisal, but God is in control!!

Praying for you, Fred and the rest of the family every day. Love you so much!!

Glad to hear that this new chemo is going well. I agree with many others when I say that your attitude is remarkable and always makes me feel more positive about life.
I just returned from 8 days in the hospital. It seems that my heart was doing the "River Dance," afib and flutter, for a couple weeks until I finally got around to taking my vitals. My pulse was dancing around in the 130s and 140s, so I called 911. First came the drugs and then 2 cardioversion procedures that finally returned me to a sinus rhythm. The heart doctor wants me to have another ablation surgery even though the last one wasn't successful. Anyway, I'm home and feeling very weak. I am expecting a home healthcare nurse on Monday to help me out, so that should help a lot. Like you, I am praying to get stronger.
I include you in my prayers. Stay safe, and much love coming your way from me.

So good to hear that you are doing so well Jean! I think you are more of a help to us then we are to you! I am sure Lois has told you that we are in the process of packing and moving to another home the first part of November. It is probably kind of silly to be moving at our age, especially since moving is a lot of work, but we are downsizing and the place we now live in does require a lot of maintenance. The place we are moving to is still on a lake but the house is level with the lake with no more walking up and down the hill, which did not go well with my replaced hips. Closing is this Thursday so we are really excited to get in and start cleaning and fixing. Again, so happy that this new chemo is going well for you and let’s pray that it continues to do so. May God continue to bless you during this healing process! Love, hugs, and prayers to you. Eileen
