Stephen....your words are a beautiful testament to the love Janelle so freely gave and taught to her children...to you...and to us. Thank you for courageously sharing your journey with us. We continue to send our love!

As I often wrote to Janelle, you are strong and brave, Stephen. You might not feel that way today. Take one day at a time. Praying for you and your precious kids.

Thank you for writing this courageous closing entry. I am especially grateful that you describe grief as colored and softened by all the tangible love you're receiving. This too is answered prayer, and we'll continue to pray for nudges toward opportunities to be part of the coloring and softening. I hope we can all celebrate Janelle daily, having been blessed by God's light shining through her so brilliantly. Looking forward to June 26!

It is so nice to hear an update on your journey. Your words still bring me to tears. I know the fourth grade and I’m sure the classes above are so excited to have the kids back. They are such special kids! I hope it helps with your healing process.

Thank you Stephen for that beautiful reflection on the love that holds us together. In that reality and the hope that generates from it we do walk on one step at a time.
