Kelsey- you have shown amazing strength during this difficult time. I am sure your son will grow to be a constant reflection of all of the great things Josh brought to us all. I will never forget his calming presence around the sometimes frentic UAlbany lacrosse house. Rest in Heaven.
Dan and I were honored and blessed to know Josh and to witness your love story firsthand. Josh touched our lives and hearts. We are grateful and we will cherish the amazing memories.
This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing these thoughts with us. We have no words other than we are so sorry for you and Gunny. We're glad he's no longer suffering and hope there is some solace in that. We truly admire the strength you have shown through all of this. Please let us know if there is anything we can do - thinking of and praying for you and Josh's family and friends.
You are an amazing young lady. I have followed you right from the beginning. He was so blessed to have you and your strength, courage and love. May he rest in peace and he will always be with you. All my love to you and your beautiful son. ❤️
How you were able to write such a beautiful post is not hard to understand. I had never met Josh or you for that matter but through your Journal I feel like I had the chance to get to know you both just a little bit. Cancer does suck. And the effects of the procedures and medications is even worse. I lost my husband 8 years ago to lymphoma, so have a bit of an idea of what you're going through. I am so very thankful you have your little boy and good family and friends to help you at this time. God bless you all. I know how hard it is. Josh is finally at peace. You have a very special angel looking down on you. My heart breaks for what you are going through. You will be in my prayers. "Memories are gods gift to those left behind."
You have lovingly, painfully, and courageously shared your most intimate feelings in the illness and death of Josh. Josh will continue to inspire others who deal with cancer. He will always be a light. The Psalmist wrote in 91.4: He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wing you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your rampart and shield. We love you. Steve and Gwynne. Travis wants to know if you want some orange jello. LOL
Kelsey, I am so sorry. You are an amazing person; you and Josh both are. Though I've never met you, I think about you often. I am a friend of Paola's and I I have fond memories of Josh and the rest of her sweet family. I wish you and Gunny all the best. -Gretel
