Jay’s Story

Site created on July 23, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website, as you scroll through the page you may notice that Caring Bridge has a message about donating to fund Jay’s page... please know that no further donations to Caring Bridge itself are necessary and Jay and Lori want to thank anyone who has already donated to help Caring Bridge provide this venue for communication.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Lori has asked me to share a little on Jay's condition as we know it at this time.  As most of you may know by now, Jay has recently been diagnosed with cancer.  While in the process of diagnosing and determining a plan of care, he has had some complications with his heart that has put him in the hospital.  He is currently in the ICU at Northside Hospital.  He is awake and alert but is pretty weak.  Lori is thankful she is allowed to stay with him most of the time.

Jay and Lori are asking friends to  wait on visiting for now while Jay is getting his strength back.   When he is ready for visitors, Lori will put out the word.  For now, Jay and Lori want to convey they feel all the love that is being poured out to them at this time and want everyone to know how much it means to them.  It has truely lifted them up and is so appreciated.   Keep the thoughts and prayers coming and feel free to leave well wishes on this site.

This board will be updated when new information is available.
