Journal entry by Shanna Brewer

We made it home from the hospital today! Yesterday evening Jayden had a bleed from his femoral site (where they put the catheter in for placing the stent.) It was definitely scary! They put a pressure bandage on it and he had to lay flat for 8 hours. Which was not fun for anyone involved.  It was so much blood because the incision is directly in his femoral artery so as you can imagine it was a mess! He made it the rest of the night without any more bleeding. He is so happy to be home :)
