Journal entry by Megan Fuller

It has been a while since an update! Big things have been happening for our little man. A week ago on Wednesday, Jaxon moved from Johns Hopkins to Mt. Washington for rehabilitation. He’s been making great strides there. He’s receiving speech therapy, feeding therapy, physical and occupational therapies. We’ve gotten videos/FaceTimed of Jaxon tearing up some actual food! It just has to be cut into very small pieces. Jaxon still has his feeding tube and is receiving feeds over night. We’re hopeful he can have it removed soon!

Next Wednesday, Jaxon will travel back to Johns Hopkins for a swallow study and to have his neck checked out. It would be great if his neck brace could also come off! Overall, his progress is really promising and they’re hoping he’ll be coming home within the month! We are so proud of Jaxon and can’t wait to have him home!

Thank you for all of your continued prayers 🙏🏻
