Jason’s Story

Site created on October 9, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On April 14th of 2017, Jason was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer (stage 4) at 47 years of age. He was referred to a top doc at Mdanderson 's genitourinary clinic shortly after being diagnosed. He has been traveling frequently from our home in Georgia to Houston for the many different treatments he has received. He has under gone testosterone inhibitor therapy, chemo, a protestectomy, a new therapy to inhibit testosterone,  more chemo, and is currently undergoing the strongest chemo available.  His strength and positive attitude have kept this family together and strong in our faith. He has kept our focus on our Father in heaven. We know that He has a plan that is perfect and far beyond anything we can imagine.  We hope that our lives can be a living testimony to His grace, strength, and neverending love.

We have followed the plans he wrote out himself before his passing to create a website to provide awareness about early onset prostate cancer and local support here in Cherokee county, Ga for those navigating any type of cancer.  Here is the link https://tuckpcfoundation.com/  Please help us spread the word!
In addition, we have partnered with fundforward.org to offer face masks that can be purchased with a portion of the proceeds going to the TPCF! Here is the link. https://thetuckpcfoundationstore.itemorder.com/sale
