Jason’s Story

Site created on October 9, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On April 14th of 2017, Jason was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer (stage 4) at 47 years of age. He was referred to a top doc at Mdanderson 's genitourinary clinic shortly after being diagnosed. He has been traveling frequently from our home in Georgia to Houston for the many different treatments he has received. He has under gone testosterone inhibitor therapy, chemo, a protestectomy, a new therapy to inhibit testosterone,  more chemo, and is currently undergoing the strongest chemo available.  His strength and positive attitude have kept this family together and strong in our faith. He has kept our focus on our Father in heaven. We know that He has a plan that is perfect and far beyond anything we can imagine.  We hope that our lives can be a living testimony to His grace, strength, and neverending love.

Journal entry by Danielle Tucker

Good morning all,

I have to apologize! I was going through our caring bridge and the last entry was done by Jason when we had been at MDA for two weeks and it never got posted. Because Jason was the author, I did not think I could post it. Some how I clicked the post button by accident.

it does seem like a clear message from him.🩷

Love to all,

Danielle

PS, I apologize if this upset anyone😢
