We have wonderful news!

Jared had blood work and a CT scan earlier this week, and today we visited Dr. Schrock to get the results.  This was Jared's 6-month post treatment evaluation.  Obviously, we were anxious about it.

Blood work: Normal
Lymph nodes: Normal, smaller than in January, with some scar tissue but no cancer.
Bottom line:  Jared is healthy.

He had a good Spring semester at Berry College and will finish his senior year next Fall.  This Sunday, he will leave for the summer to Dewees Island (an isolated island in the Charleston area) where he will study a newly arrived coyote population and its impact on sea turtle nests.

Our emotions contrast dramatically to those of a year ago when Jared was in the midst of Chemo.  Indeed, it's summertime, and the living is easy.

We wish the same for your family.
