Hello! It is hard to believe five months have passed and so much has changed in our world since we lost Jan, Alex, and Jack.
Family members have been working to prepare Jan’s house for sale and are ready to tackle outdoor work. Many of you know how much Jan and her boys loved nature. Jan had a beautiful yard and garden, which are now in need of care.
We are planning an outdoor workday for this Saturday, August 1, from 10:30 to 5:00. If you live in the area and would like to help with weeding and other outdoor tasks, please email sarahnewman712@hotmail.com and we will send you details.
We also learned that Courage Center is creating a memorial for Jan, with the purchase of outdoor chairs/benches to be placed by an entrance that Jan often used when going to work. Each chair/bench costs approximately $850 and the goal is to purchase two or more. See below if you’d like to learn more:
A donation in any amount would be helpful to get us to this goal, and you will receive an individual acknowledgement/receipt through the foundation.

Then select “Other” for the amount to enter your own amount, and Other in the “Give To” field, and write in “Outdoor chairs honoring Jan Petrovich” as in the example below. Enter your own name, credit card info, etc.
To give by check, simply write Chairs honoring Jan Petrovich in the memo or on a separate piece of paper and mail to Courage Kenny Foundation, 3915 Golden Valley Rd, Golden Valley, MN 55422
