Feather Sebree is my legal name and I’m not sure why CaringBridge is using it but anyway… 🤷🏻‍♀️) …As I am choosing my clothes for the Celebration of Life this afternoon, I am grateful that you asked for the bright colors and I look forward to seeing the outpouring of love, connection, community and all we will be sharing. The clothes I chose today are a reminder of how pivotal Janiece has been in my life, especially in the last eight months. The shirt I will be wearing is a shirt that was gifted to me through our Fire Ceremonies which Janiece was a part of. I wore it at the Southern Ute Sundance which I was invited to and attended in southern Colorado. All of that started with me having an inspiration to call Janiece back in February when I was in the middle of a meditation in the Rocky Mountains. I never would’ve chosen this shirt if you hadn’t asked for “bright colors“ and I realized how dull my wardrobe is. This one is red with dragonflies and sparkly beads on it and I am happy for the symbolism and connection it has. She was profoundly connected, and now even more so. Janiece, I feel you everywhere. Your voice is in the air and your essence is in the trees. 🕉🎶
