Congratulations Janice! Thank God you did it! 💕You and Bob made this very difficult and unbelievable journey into the unknown look easy with your strength, faith, fortitude and amazing good humor!!
Bob, I always eagerly awaited your posts, especially when the news started turning positive and your sense of humor burst forth. Thank you for your tireless efforts to keep all of Janice's friends informed. The Guac Group looks forward to seeing Janice AND YOU in the not-too-distant future.
Thanks Bob for all of your updates about this journey during a time of troubled waters. You both did remarkably well when things looked quite dark. I wish you both some very good meals, happy travels and "Fini" for this long episode. Let's resort to Facebook posts, emails, messages and occasional phone calls on the "party line"! But then, you're both too young for that.
"All good things must come to an end." Wait, that saying really isn't appropriate here, is it. The end itself really is the good thing, with the celebration of the last step on Janice's road to recovery! Thank you, Bob, for being a faithful communicator ( and humorist) throughout Janice`s journey.. Janice, I look forward to seeing you at the shelter!
On behalf of my wife Carol and myself – Janice’s brother – our thanks to all of you regular “commenters” who have regularly sent Janice your prayers, your encouragement, and your joy in her progress. It’s been a pleasure to read your messages! We haven’t posted comments ourselves, but of course have kept in touch directly with her, and prayed for her along with the rest of you.
We’ve been especially grateful for Bob and his faithful and dedicated support for Janice – and for keeping everyone posted on her progress. That shouldn’t go without saying.
Janice’s children Josh and Ally and their families have also kept in regular touch with Janice – they have the advantage of being able to entertain Janice with pictures, videos, etc. of grandchildren, which are far more interesting to her than anything I’ve had to say.
Your updates, Bob, have been a highlight of my day. Unusual to have an illness make me chuckle - but in this case, it did. It's a relief that Janice has recouped so well and I'm sure a lot of it has to do with your support and good humor. Judy Jones
