Journal entry by Janice Crawford —
Prayers for Janice Crawford appreciated. She is currently in stable but critical condition at Dallas Methodist. Because she continued to get weaker instead of stronger and had continued nausea and vomiting after completing her antibiotics for a UTI, we decided to have her taken to the ER last night. She has a couple of brain bleeds that may require surgery. They’re doing an MRI now. We should know more later.
Update: It's not brain bleeds. It's tumors. One is on the brain stem. They are pumping her full of MG medication to make her stronger. They are concerned about her ability to come off the ventilator after a surgery. Contacting her neurologist for recommendations.
Update: there are many probably cancerous tumors. They will discuss with her how aggressively she wants to treat them tomorrow. No estimate on how long they’ve been forming or how long she can continue living with them without treatment.
