The nurse told me today Mom elected a medication which, if given the option, would enable her to be a bit more communicative when awake. I thought it was special, just another warming feeling Mom gave us because, as anyone knows, Moms not one to forgo a conversation!

Martha hung a birdhouse outside made of bird seed, and the nurses angled Mom in bed so she could also look out the window. Happy things to bring smiles.
