Sign In to Show Your SupportSo, I spent the week in the hospital last week. We got some bad news, but our faith remains strong. I have a brain tumor that is separating my optic nerves and I have 5 radiation treatments that have hopes of keeping my eyesight as long as possible. Additionally, my treatment has been withdrawn. I will enter hospice care after radiation rounds are completed. I could have anywhere from 2 weeks, 2 months to a few years. I am doing my best to spend time with the kids but I take a lot of medication. My family and I have chosen a hospice care facility that we feel confident will guide us thru this process. The kids have started at Annie’s Hope, a local cancer resource that will help the kids manage all the changes. Otherwise, we are just living and loving!
I love you all!
