Hi, All!
Exciting news-- Mom finished her treatmentent 2 weeks ago (on the 6th) and she is recovering really well. The last week after treatment (post-treatment) was difficult, but she is making a really fast turnaround. Her neck is healing well from the radiation, she has an appetite, and can finally swallow, but still can't taste anything (her taste will be coming back slowly over the next months).
Thank you all for your kind texts, messages, letters, food, and support. We all appreciate it so so much.
You all have made the summer so much more tolerable for all of us. We cannot thank you enough.
