Jamie-Ellen’s Story

Site created on July 8, 2018

Thank you for finding your way to this CaringBridge website for Jamie-Ellen Spessard. This spring she was diagnosed with a form of cancer called Multiple Myeloma. Since that time she has undergone a test of her pulmonary function, cardiac scan, physical, labs, CXR, bone survey, EKG, bone marrow biopsy, etc. She is in the hospital now getting treatments to prepare her for the stem cell replacement therapy that comes next. She has inspired us all with her positive attitude, always ending her updates with #onedayclosertocured even as there is no known cure for this kind of cancer. Please consider leaving her and her family - Ron, her husband; Bobby Lee, her son; Kelly Rose, her daughter; and Kyle, her son-in-law - a few words of hope and encouragement. If you are able to drop off a meal as well, it would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for visiting.
