Journal entry by James Robinson

In November 2006 I was diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer.  After a radical prostatectomy I have had 0 PSAs since.  I have had no urinary problems but have ED and have used pills and penile injections.

In July 2008 I was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer.  After a right upper lobectomy and chemotherapy I have had clean scans.  The chemo used was Alimta and Sysplatin and was a bad experience with severe fatigue and nausea .

In July 2017 I started having seizures and was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was determined to be metastasized lung cancer.  It was removed via open surgery followed by gamma knife on the tumor location.  The scans were clean until November 2018 when an MRI showed more tumor in the same location.  The January 2019 MRI showed the tumor had grown some and I will have another MRI in April.  I have no lung cancer in the primary site and only one metastasized tumor in my brain so I am confident that we can contain it.
