Jim had a heart attack and is at John Muir Hospital in Concord in the Cardiology ICU. Right now the main focus is for him to retain less fluids and to get stronger so he can go into surgery. He has improved immensely since being hospitalized. On a scale 1-60 his echo test was at first 18 and is now 33! He still has a way to go. Today they removed his breathing tube and he was smiling and even high giving the nurses and Drs. Next big step is for surgery to be scheduled but every baby step is just as wonderful.
