Journal entry by Pamela Ochsner

On Thursday, Jan 25th we made a trip to see Jim's oncologist in Colorado Springs.  The doctor reviewed Jim's recent MRI's and his CT scans.  He stated that everything seemed to be stable.  There was no cancer growth.  We talked about Jim's neuropathy and how it was progressing up his legs.  We also discussed changes that could be made to Jim's medication, but for now we  will leave them as they are.  The doctor was concerned about how Jim's hernia is growing and suggested we see his urologist.  The trip up to Colorado Springs and  back is hard for Jim but he prefers to sleep in his own bed.

We also were able to stop and see our son Jacob, his wife Dani and of course our granddaughter Aria who is 3 1/2 years old.  I can't believe how fast she is growing.  She has learned so much very time we see her.  We are looking forward to winter being over so we can head out to our cabin and finish going thru the boxes from the old house.  Jim would like to get his shop back and I am determined to get everything done as soon as possible.

Our daughter-in-law and our other granddaughter, Kiyo, are in Japan right now.  Henry really misses them, but we all enjoy the pictures and videos we receive as well as the video phone calls.  Kiyo will turn 2 on April 15th and will become a big sister sometime around the beginning of July.  We are so ready to welcome another granddaughter into the family.

Jim enjoys the cards, letters and phone calls from friends and relatives as well as visits, so drop us a line, call or come by.
